Who is collecting your information?
The Other Minds project is led by Raphael Pfeiffer and Vincent Bondoux. For questions about your subscription or personal information, contact vincent@otherminds.eu or raphael@otherminds.eu.
What we use and why
When you choose to subscribe, we use your email address to send a confirmation request, a welcome email and occasional news about the project. Subscription is optional and based on your consent. Your address is added to the active update list only after you confirm it.
We record the dates of your request and confirmation, your subscription status, the consent notice version and technical email delivery status. Limited, pseudonymous request counters help prevent automated abuse. Hosting and email providers also process technical connection and delivery information.
How long we keep it
Unconfirmed requests are removed after seven days. Confirmed subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, or for a maximum of 24 months after confirmation in the current service. Unsubscribing removes your address from the active database. Temporary technical counters expire automatically.
Service providers
The site and subscription database are hosted on Railway. Automated confirmation and welcome emails, once enabled, are sent using Google Workspace from vincent@otherminds.eu. These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Contact us for details about the applicable provider arrangements and international transfers before subscribing.
We do not sell the update list. This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics scripts.
Your choices and rights
Every welcome or project update email includes an unsubscribe option. You may also contact us to withdraw your consent, request access to your information, correct it, request its deletion or exercise applicable data protection rights. You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in France, this is the CNIL.
Before subscriptions open
The subscription form only accepts requests when automated email delivery has been configured. If signups are not yet available, contacting us directly does not automatically subscribe you to updates.
